German model and TV personality Heidi Klum has been appointed the newest ambassador for UNICEF USA, having worked with the organisation since 2011.

Klum commented 'Before being a TV personality, a producer or a UNICEF Ambassador, I am a mother first. Children have always been my number one priority. I believe that every child deserves safety, opportunity, healthcare and love. It feels important to use my voice to help shine light on the challenges children face and inform people of what they can do to help. Everyone can make an impact'.
