Iconic American designer and businessman Ralph Lauren has collaborated with the United States Postal Service to design a set of commemorative stamps honouring the nation's 250th anniversary.

The designer commented 'I love America, and these images symbolise the many ideals and aspirations that bind us together. They are icons of our country - authentic, timeless and passed down through generations - and reflect the dream of a better life that has always inspired me'.
