Four-piece band Westside Cowboy are set for a big year after turning heads with their own blend of alt-rock and folk, ‘Britainicana’.

After forming at university in Manchester in 2023, Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife O’Connell and Paddy Murphy released their first single I’ve Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love in November 2024. In 2025, they cemented their rising profile by winning the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition, earning them a spot on the Woodsies stage that summer. Two EPs and one Rolling Stone UK Awards shortlist nomination later, Westside Cowboy opened for the London leg of American band Geese’s tour in March 2026. With a host of upcoming festival bookings in Europe and an album on the horizon, the best is surely yet to come.
